The thing that stole the show though were the different jackets. Many of the coats and jumpers were quilted, knitted or came in crazy furs. While the color variety widely ranged from beautiful pastels and metallic to contrasting jewel tones, the show was still able to evoke a feeling of "simplistic working girl". Miu Miu seemed to say: this collection is for the practical woman who also enjoys a little excitement-as seen from the contrasting color choices. None of the designs were over-the-top like with McQueen, and Miu Miu stuck to simple regiments of color blocking. Each of the designs were feminine and you could imagine a woman wearing this on her way to the office or to brunch. The set design also added to this. There were no crazy merry-go-rounds or escalators to walk up and down on. There was simple scaffolds with bright lights that matched the fantastic nail heel rain booties. No gimmicks, Miu Miu was exactly how you saw it. The clothes told a story of a straight forward, exciting yet feminine working girl. Simple, clever and absolutely beautiful.
